Hi all,
My name is Heidi. I live in Chandler Arizona.
I have 2 wonderful children age 1 and 3. we Love to read which is what started me on the business path of selling Barefoot Childrens books.
What I want from this group
network, swop links, read tips, hopefully give tips, form friendships.

Why buy Barefoot books?
they are not available in most shops. Barefoot prefers smaller retailers or home based businesses
Barefoot believes in great art in all books including books for older children/adults
Barefoot believes in educating the adult as well as the child. In many of the younger books you will find great facts at the end of the books such as Mama Panya's pancakes, has a great description about life in Kenya.
They have many multicultural titles which are hard to find. Even the anthrologies represent many different countries.
Barefoot does not damge the ancient forests. They plant new trees.
Barefoot supports charities such as books for Africa.
Why buy from me?
I am a Mom with a small business. I know everyone of my books I choose to keep as stock and most of the other books available from Barefoot Books.
Reading to my children is a passion. I will advice you on the books, telling you which books we love and we books we don't. I particularly know the preschool books. I test all the books on my 3 and half year old, some on my one and half year old. I will give honest opinions.
I also give discounts to other WAHM. I offer cheaper shipping if I have the item in stock than the main Barefoot site.
I will let you know of the discounts, keep a wish list for you and let you know when the book is on sale.

choosing a book for a child.
When purchasing books for our lovely children in our lives the highest priority should be to seek out books with meaningful content. try to avoid poor quality and commercialism.
